In my point of view, this subject is comprehensive in term of to construct a complete report. This skill, perhaps can be applied wherever we are either in the university level, or working sphere. However, there are several intricate procedures that we have to go after. I mean the report writing part. In this part, all of the division will be merged and arranged according to the stages. It’s quite exigent to combine all the result since it’s required us to arrange the entire element according to the phase of the report. Even though its quite complicated, but, we need to be patient to see the result. well, this is the most crucial part that will determine weather you'll get A or otherwise...

i wonder..what do i get after learning this subject...

Well...
What do I get when learning this subject? Well, basically, this subject teaches me how to write a comprehensive report. This skill not only can be applied for this subject, but, perhaps can be use in the working sphere. Doing report will makes us much discipline. This is because we need to follow the precise phase to make sure that the report was well presented and the readers can get the flow of the report. I would like to say that this is the “serious thing” that needs me to be serious in terms of interview peoples, doing questionnaire, as well as doing report all the steps need to be done carefully. There’s no shortcut to find the finding.

Experience in doing the research

I’m doing the research on “Barriers to intercultural Communication among Malaysian people”. It’s, in fact, is an interesting topic. I have done the research in Shorruber (M) to find out the intercultural communication atmospheres there. At Shorubber, the workforce comes from various background as well as race. As we all know, Shorubber is Japanese Origin Company, so, the higher position was hold by them. There are also foreign employees working there such as Vietnamese employee. Majority of them did not have good command in English, but they able to speak Basic English which is somehow, will help in communication. All of the employee give a full commitment during accomplish the questionnaire, and leave constructive comment. After finished distributed the questionnaires, I hold an interview with Madam Zalifah Mohamed, one the Shorubber Human Resource (HR) officer. She gives me such a warm welcome and good hospitality. She tries to answers my entire question, and I feel comfortable with her throughout the interview session. I would like to record my appreciation to Shorruber(M) staff for giving me an unforgettable good deeds.

As a (Diploma English Communication) DECom student, I’m unable to escape from contribute questionnaire to people, interviewing people, and do the final report. It continuing until I’m in semester 4, Research and Project is a subject that focuses on writing report. It’s part of our life. I’m choosing “Barriers to intercultural communication” as the topic for my research. After my proposal was accepted, I’m starting to do some research on the internet, looking for some article. It’s such as problematic topic, seriously! But, thanks god, after having consultation with my tutor, Madam Zalinda, I was on track. My perception once again is wrong. I even don’t know what to do at first, but the reference book helps me a lot. It give a in depth guide for me on how to write a report according to stages, and well presented.
